About Me

Born and raised on O’ahu, I am a Native Hawaiian graphic designer. I chose to go to Leeds Beckett University to get my BA in Graphic Design, and living so far away from home made me realize how deeply I love Hawai’i and want to better the Hawaiian community.

Hawaiian culture and aloha ‘āina (love of the land) are at the center of my practice. I am a passionate advocate for Hawaiians existing in places of education and being in charge of telling our own story. Additionally, I am a dedicated advocate for sustainability, biophilic design, and public greenspaces.

Re-contextualizing historical material in a modern way through hand-crafted, physical outcomes has been my specialism throughout my degree, and I am looking for more opportunities to use archival pieces to further authentically share Hawaiian history.
